We are seeking a seasoned Technology Strategist to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with top management to develop and implement the company's product and technology roadmap. This involves providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams, collaborating on design solutions that meet customer requirements, and ensuring that product systems, subsystems, interfaces, and components meet specifications and maintain traceability throughout the development process.

In addition, the Technology Strategist will identify and develop strategic technology partnerships to support the company's product development efforts, provide sound technical direction for product design aspects, and stay current with new technologies and material advancements.

The ideal candidate will participate in research and assessment of the industry landscape from IP, regulatory, product, and technology perspectives, collaborate on technical reviews at various stages of design and development, and ensure compliance with the company's Quality Management System and ISO 13485 standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Min degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or any other technical field
  • 10 years relevant experience in product development roles, preferably within the medical industry or highly regulated industries
  • Strong mechanical, mechatronic, or opto-mechanical fundamentals
  • Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and processes such as machining, injection molding, extrusion etc.
  • Proven track record in design innovation, preferably an inventor of 10 or more patents
  • Open and collaborative style, comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged
