Assistant Executive Chef Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operation, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years work experience as an Executive Chef or 4 years as a Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards. A qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is preferred.
The key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the efficient running of the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of the outlet
- Managing kitchen operations as a successful independent profit center, meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations
The successful candidate will also possess comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards, as well as basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in leading a diverse team with varying degrees of experience and talents. Key skills include recipes, ingredients, quality control, food safety, cooking, working well under pressure, food quality, inventory, administration, and sanitation.
