Senior Manager, Education

This role oversees the development and implementation of volunteer programmes to support a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore.

Responsibilities:
  • Volunteer Strategy & Programme Oversight: Develop strategies and oversee the implementation of volunteer programmes that align with the organisation's purpose and vision.
  • Volunteer Recruitment, Training, and Engagement: Recruit, train, and engage volunteers for all programmes, ensuring they are equipped for evolving roles and aligned with organisational expectations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for volunteer contributions, performance, and programme impact.
Training & Development:
  • Design training frameworks that equip volunteers for emerging challenges, ensuring their skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
  • Maintain alignment between volunteer training and organisational messaging, adhering to safety protocols and role-specific expectations.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness, adapting content based on feedback and operational needs.
Volunteer Experience & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Create an inclusive environment for volunteers, fostering respectful interactions and clear communication.
  • Craft engaging activities that enhance volunteer motivation and contribution, addressing feedback to improve the overall experience.
  • Promote collaboration with internal departments and external partners to identify co-creation opportunities for volunteers.
Leadership & Governance:
  • Supervise team members, guiding effective delivery of volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement operations.
  • Establish clear goals and support professional development through regular feedback, training opportunities, and performance management.
  • Ensure governance standards are upheld by complying with data protection regulations and organisational policies.
