
Strategic Relationship Manager

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to assume a key leadership role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients, as well as driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand our business portfolio in contract/project financing, pre and post factoring.
- Identify and source high-quality leads for relationship officers to pursue, ensuring effective lead management and conversion.
- Pursue and achieve sales targets, driving revenue growth and enhancing our market presence.
- Provide guidance and support to relationship managers in performing cold callings, managing referrals, and generating leads.
- Evaluate client needs and develop tailored financing solutions, prioritizing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments on client applications, ensuring compliance with business processes and controls.
- Create and submit comprehensive credit memos to the credit committee and management for approval.
- Maintain a robust portfolio of clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with operations and accounts teams to ensure timely disbursement of funds to clients, promoting seamless transaction execution.
- Nurture relationships with referral agents and business partners to secure consistent referrals and drive business growth.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution or similar lending industry role.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with project/contract financing, trade financing, invoice receivables financing, and factoring will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in SME/Credit Companies will be considered beneficial.
- The ability to analyze Company Audit reports will be seen as an added value.
- A good standard of credit evaluation and financial analysis is essential.
- Maturity and confidence in handling challenging situations are required.
- The ability to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances is crucial.
- Excellent networking and business acumen skills are necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- A high level of integrity, adept at interacting with individuals at all organizational levels, and open-minded with a determined work ethic are required.
- Hardworking and diligent in carrying out responsibilities, with a goal-oriented mindset.
- A strong desire to succeed in the role and hungry to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills are vital.
