About the Position:

We require an experienced professional to trade marine fuels, focusing on optimizing operational efficiency and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Bunker Trading & Cargo division to align purchasing requirements with regional business needs, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
  • Identify and pursue back-to-back trading opportunities in the region across bunkers, marine fuels, LSFO, MGO, and lubricants to enhance profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and traders at key ports and jurisdictions across the APAC region.
  • Stay updated on developments in alternative fuels and industry trends, providing recommendations for optimal solutions.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities to expand the company's market share and revenue in the marine fuels sector.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a purchasing or trading role within the bunker or marine fuels industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and traders at key ports and jurisdictions across the APAC region.
  • Strong understanding of operations, account management, and trading fundamentals.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing a business portfolio within the bunker industry.
