VP, Major Incident Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Major Incident Manager to join our Group Technology and Operations team at United Overseas Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing technology incidents impacting our group businesses and ensuring that our technology infrastructure is secure and flexible.
Key Responsibilities- Manage technology incidents from start to finish, ensuring timely recognition, logging, assignment, and resolution.
- Work with relevant business and technology groups to comply with incident and problem management processes and procedures.
- Establish strong command and control of incidents, ensuring clear accountability and precise evaluation of complex issue scenarios.
- Participate in incident resolution calls to facilitate incident determination, recovery, and resolution.
- Escalate critical and unresolved incidents to appropriate levels of management.
- Ensure accurate capture and documentation of incident data in our incident reporting tool.
- Post-incident activity to ensure highest levels of service quality and improve service levels through identification of problem trends and causes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage highly stressful situations during incidents.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- ITIL certification is a must.
- 8-10 years of managing complex IT initiatives in a matrix environment or operational line managers experience.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral), with experience interacting with all levels of management.
- Experience in application support, knowledge of EOD batch processing, infrastructure, web/application/middleware services, and good knowledge of payments flow.
