Job Description

Crisis Intervention Specialist Job Summary

Provide crisis management and support to individuals in need. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver crisis interventions, including advice, information, and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
  • Conduct onsite assessments for callers requiring immediate support.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, mental health crisis nurses, and counsellors to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Coordinate with various hospital departments as needed to facilitate seamless service delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Psychology or Counselling from an established university
  • Advanced Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience (entry-level candidates with a positive learning attitude are also encouraged to apply)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Strong teamwork and patient-care skills
