**Job Title:** Senior Histopathology Technician
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to perform histological testing, including sample accessioning, tissue processing, and staining. This is a highly technical role that requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine H&E stain, special stains, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) stains according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Process specimens for analysis in accordance with established written procedures.
  • Evaluate test results according to standardized protocols.
  • Maintain quality control measures during testing to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Document corrective and preventative actions with good documentation practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a biomedical or biological science from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a clinical histology laboratory will be preferred.
  • Good analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as a good team player with initiative and adaptability to change.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
