Workplace Safety Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Workplace Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust safety protocols to ensure the well-being of employees and clients alike.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will spearhead the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive safety management systems (SHMS) on-site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. You will identify, assess, and mitigate workplace and process-related risks, propose and enforce safe work procedures, and enhance workplace safety performance through strategic measures.

  • Develop and execute Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) plans, trainings, meetings, and promotional activities.
  • Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify and address hazards and risks promptly.
  • Enforce EHS / OSH regulations at the workplace.
  • Investigate, manage, report, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on accidents or EHS non-compliance incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Must possess WSHO license and familiarity with safety audits.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the local Building and Construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive working attitude.
