Job Title: Lift Mechanic

Elevator System Reliability and Maintenance Expertise Required

As a skilled professional in elevator system maintenance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our elevator systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating across multiple sites to maintain high standards.

  • Develop Annual Lift Maintenance Plans: Create and execute annual lift maintenance plans, including inspections and tests, in compliance with local regulations.
  • Design and Implement Maintenance Procedures: Design, update, and implement maintenance procedures and testing protocols to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Schedules: Coordinate maintenance schedules and manage resource allocation across islandwide sites to optimize efficiency.
  • Liaise with Clients and Teams: Liaise with clients and internal teams to confirm schedules and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
  • Troubleshoot Mechanical and Electrical Issues: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare Comprehensive Maintenance Reports: Prepare comprehensive maintenance reports and maintain documentation for audits and records.
  • Contribute to SOP Refinement: Contribute to the refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promote best practices within the team.

Requirements:

  • Technical Discipline: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in lift maintenance or lift engineering at an engineer level.
  • Local Regulations: Strong understanding of local lift inspection regulations and standards.
  • Employment Track Record: Solid employment track record with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Maintenance Skills: Maintenance management, troubleshooting, fault analysis, scheduling, and resource planning skills.
