Job Title: Senior Mechanical Technician

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance efficiently and effectively for process and utilities equipment and building facilities.
  • They will also coordinate and ensure the quality of work carried out by external and internal contractors meet Sanofi's requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating and cleaning machinery, and replacing parts as needed.
  2. Coordinating with contractors to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and improve overall team performance.
  4. Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Mechatronics with 3 years of hands-on experience in process equipment, utilities equipment and building facilities; Diploma holders will require at least 1 year of similar experience.
  • Relevant experience especially good in rotating equipment such as pump, agitator, reactor, centrifuge, dryer.
  • Knowledge of utility like boiler, chiller, compressor and AHU will add value.
