A highly skilled Nursing Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a supportive work environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing staff effectively, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork.
- Deliver comprehensive client care, including emergency response, medication management, and administration.
- Maintain adherence to rigorous nursing standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation of client medical records and schedules.
- Contribute to and implement Individualized Care Plans, driving successful outcomes.
- Develop and lead relevant training for staff and health education programs for clients.
- Lead new nursing and care staff induction processes.
- Timely report incidents to the Nurse Manager, meeting specified deadlines.
- Provide Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) support for residents, such as personal hygiene, toilet training, feeding, and ambulation.
- Accompany residents to hospitals or clinics for medical treatment, providing critical feedback to doctors and the Nurse Manager.
- Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and monthly glucose levels.
- Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement therapy plans, achieving set goals.
- Implement therapeutic and maintenance programs under therapist guidance.
- Foster positive relationships with residents.
- Document and report resident conditions accurately.
This position demands exceptional organizational and time-management skills, enabling you to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while contributing to a supportive work environment.
The successful candidate will possess relevant certifications, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), and have experience working in healthcare settings. They will demonstrate a passion for ongoing learning and professional development.
