Physical Therapist

Special Minds is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to work with children in one-to-one settings. As a Freelance Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with learning or special needs.

Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will conduct thorough assessments to evaluate children's physical development, mobility, strength, and coordination. They will develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs, goals, and abilities. The Physical Therapist will provide one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on improving physical function, mobility, strength, balance, and coordination. They will utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and exercises to engage children and promote their physical well-being.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with developmental delays, disabilities, or special needs, in a one-to-one setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy practices and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to working with children and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt treatment plans based on each child's progress and evolving needs.
