Job Description:

The Database Security Expert will collaborate with a team of engineers to support the Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) System. This role involves ensuring the DAM operations run smoothly, maintaining its health, ensuring high availability, and adhering to service level agreements and security policies.

  • Implement infrastructure and support for data security monitoring
  • Conduct database security monitoring and auditing
  • Monitor security alerts and collaborate with clients to ensure effective policy implementation
  • Manage database monitoring reports
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure database integrity and security
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and address their data security monitoring needs and use cases
  • Conduct regular reviews of policies with clients
  • Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the DAM system
  • Configure security policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor in any IT equivalent (Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology)
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field
  • Proficient in understanding the role of Database Activity Monitoring within security frameworks and familiar with data security principles
  • In-depth technical expertise in various database systems, including Microsoft SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, and MongoDB
  • Solid understanding of server platforms such as Windows, UNIX, and Linux
  • Having the following technical certifications is a plus: Database certification Security-related certification
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Robust skills in vendor management, service level agreements, and project management
