The role of a Wholesale Broker is an exciting opportunity to expand your skills in the insurance industry.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can support the Director of ANZ Wholesale and another placement broker in managing and expanding portfolios, including production and placement activities into Singapore and international markets.

This position offers development into a placement broker as the business grows. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the ANZ Wholesale team in converting new business opportunities to promote profitable growth.

Key responsibilities include preparing and finalizing insurance documentation for efficient business placement, broking endorsements and simple placements, and coordinating with technical administration for billing.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to facilitate prompt placement of (re)insurance contracts in accordance with client needs and regulatory requirements.

Other key duties include providing quality service to clients, advising and securing appropriate coverage at competitive premiums, engaging with existing clients to identify further opportunities, and supporting the Director in client servicing, renewal portfolios, new business, and risk marketing and placement.

Achieving financial and operational targets set for the department is also a critical aspect of this role.

The Wholesale Broker will work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with company rules, procedures, and legal requirements, including documentation, client monies, and breach reporting.

Maintaining sound business practices and proactive risk management is essential for success in this position.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of broking experience, certification in General Insurance, and a University Degree of any discipline.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in international markets and open market documentation are desirable but not mandatory.

Bilingual skills are viewed favorably.
