Railway Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Railway Operations Manager, overseeing various aspects of railway operation duties. This position requires strategic planning and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth train movement and safe pedestrian track access control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor railway operations and address any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with central control teams at the OCC building to coordinate train movements and ensure seamless transitions.
- Maintain accurate records of train schedules, delays, and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Develop and implement training programs for new staff members to familiarize them with railway operations procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety and security among team members by conducting regular workshops and awareness sessions.
Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field with extensive experience in railway operations management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A valid Class 3 or 4 local driving license is an advantage.
