Job Description

As a railway operations specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trains within our test centre. This involves performing duties such as pedestrian track access control, operating shunting vehicles or passenger/engineering trains, and setting routes for train movement.

You will also manage central control at our OCC building to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols. Additionally, you will coordinate with contractors for lifting activities and perform shift duty, work overtime, and relief work as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a local diploma certification in E&M Engineering discipline with working experience in the railway industry. Candidates with train testing and commissioning work experience will be advantageous. Training will be provided to successful candidates to perform railway operation duties.

Able to lead and take charge of a team of work group or contractor for building services/structure maintenance works, core system (Signaling/Comms/Control) maintenance works, etc. within the test centre. Able to support oversea assignment if necessary. To take up the role as trainer when required.
