We are seeking a skilled marketing expansion strategist to spearhead our strategic expansion into the Chinese market.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that drives business growth from this vital market segment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a strategic plan to engage clients in mainland China and Chinese-speaking markets in Singapore.
  • Creating high-quality, localized content in fluent Mandarin Chinese for all digital channels.
  • Managing our WeChat Official Account, including content planning, publishing, community management, and lead nurturing.
  • Planning and managing paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Baidu PPC and Tencent Ads.
  • Conducting keyword research and optimizing our online presence for the Baidu search engine (Baidu SEO).
  • Establishing our professional voice on B2B-relevant platforms like Zhihu to build authority and trust.
  • Analyzing and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, focusing on ROI and KPIs specific to the Chinese market.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Chinese Studies, or a related field.
  • Native-level proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese is essential for creating compelling marketing copy and communicating effectively with clients. Proficiency in English is also required for internal communication.
  • 1-3 years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on the mainland China market.
  • Demonstrable experience managing WeChat Official Accounts and running campaigns on Baidu.
  • Familiarity with Chinese analytics tools and a strong understanding of user behavior on Chinese platforms.
  • A deep understanding of cultural nuances and business etiquette in China.
  • A proactive and adaptable individual who can navigate the dynamic and rapidly evolving Chinese digital landscape.
