Lighting Designer Role

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity and technical expertise in lighting design, with the ability to produce innovative concepts, drawings, and calculations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Developing and presenting lighting strategies to clients and other consultants;">
  • Collaborating closely with electrical teams, clients, and other consultants;">
  • Guiding and overseeing lighting designers;">
  • Providing project management and technical support from concept design to testing and commissioning;">
  • Managing project budgets and finances, as well as manpower planning and project workflow;">
  • Supervising junior designers, providing assistance and reporting to the Division Head;">
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors at project meetings;">
  • Conducting site inspections and providing on-site technical support;">
  • Preparing and reviewing design documentation, tender documents, and other administrative materials;">
  • Assisting with business development, marketing, and other business management tasks.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field;">
  • A degree or diploma in Electrical, Architecture, Product Design, or Interior Design;">
  • Proficiency in common design analysis software, such as Photoshop and Dialux;">
  • Strong design flair and good communication and presentation skills;">
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead by example.">
