Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Control Systems Expert to lead and supervise a team of Field Application Engineers in the Asia Pacific region.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in lighting and lighting controls such as DALI, KNX, or DMX, and excellent hands-on demonstration and technical explanation skills.
  • They will be responsible for providing expert technical support to projects via various channels, communicating effectively with international customers in verbal and written English and Mandarin languages.
  • Additionally, they will work closely with escalation points to drive resolution of complex issues, provide comprehensive technical support and onboarding to Ecosystem partners, and investigate Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) products for company's products across APAC.
  • Designing and specifying smart lighting controls solutions for commercial and residential applications, collaborating with the APAC Sales team for seamless customer journey, and representing regional advocate for specifiers in the APAC region are also key responsibilities of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least 5 years' experience in lighting and lighting controls such as DALI, KNX, or DMX.
  • Excellent hands-on demonstration and technical explanation skills.
  • Proficient in handling and troubleshooting electrical products with accuracy.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Previous lighting or lighting control system project experience from design stage to installation stage.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to independently multi-task.
  • Attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills with creativity.
