Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to lead our team in delivering innovative lighting solutions across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Your key responsibility will be to provide technical support to projects via email, phone calls, video calls, and on-site visits in Singapore. You will also communicate effectively with international customers in verbal and written English and Mandarin languages.
  • You will work closely with our global technical support team to drive the resolution of complex issues. Additionally, you will provide technical support and onboarding to our ecosystem partners, enabling them to utilize our platform and services effectively.
  • Investigate Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) products for our company's products across APAC. Design, specify, and provide smart lighting controls design solutions that meet client expectations and adhere to our standards.
  • Collaborate with our APAC sales team to ensure a smooth customer journey from sales to design. Specify our wireless lighting control solutions to projects in the market. Advocate for specifiers in the APAC region as a regional representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with project stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and explain technical and functional details of lighting control systems.
  • Handle and troubleshoot electrical products efficiently.
  • Utilize tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint to manage projects and collaborate with teams.
  • Previous experience with lighting or lighting control system projects from design stage to installation stage is essential.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to independently multitask and prioritize work.
  • Show attention to detail and possess strong technical problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years' technical expertise and experience in lighting and lighting controls such as DALI, KNX, or DMX is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in providing hands-on demonstrations and explaining technical and functional details of lighting control systems.
  • Proficiency in handling and troubleshooting electrical products.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Previous lighting or lighting control system project experience from design stage to installation stage.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to independently multitask and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.
