Job Opportunity: Lighting Design Expert

A lighting design expert will be responsible for developing innovative lighting systems and modules.

  • Conduct research to create customized products or new products, evaluating and improving existing designs to meet customer needs.
  • Perform engineering calculations and prototypes to verify product design and production methods, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Analyse manufacturing problems and recommend effective solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Source suppliers, evaluate components and products, and create test programs to validate product performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, operations, and project teams to provide technical support onsite and offsite.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or similar based on experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Portfolio of products designed and produced.
  • Examples of solutions engineered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2D/3D, and lighting calculation software.
  • Experience in 3D printing and manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Interest in research and self-learning.
  • A keen eye for detail, organized, resourceful, and independent.
  • Team player with excellent written, pictorial, and verbal communication skills.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to make a difference.
