Job Title: Project Lead and Programme Manager
About the Role:
- We are seeking a seasoned project lead and programme manager to oversee high-profile projects from initiation to completion.
- Your primary responsibility will be to direct cross-functional teams comprising consultants, contractors, and developers in daily-site activities.
- You will conduct regular project briefings, kick-start meetings, and provide periodic progress reports to stakeholders.
- In addition, you will assist in evaluating the master programme and monitor work progress against established milestones.
- Key performance indicators include cost estimates, progress claims, interim certificates, and payment responses.
- You will also identify potential or actual causes of delay and take proactive measures to prevent or rectify them.
- Furthermore, you will monitor submissions and clearances from relevant authorities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Project feasibility studies and recommendations on development concepts, preliminary programmes, and budgets will also fall under your purview.
- This role requires excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Project Management from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the built environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Candidates with lesser years of experience are welcome to apply, provided they demonstrate exceptional potential and a strong passion for project management.
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office is essential, while knowledge of industry-standard tools and technologies is a significant advantage.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
