We are seeking a professional with strong analytical thinking and project management skills to join our team as an Early Childhood Development Specialist. This role will involve developing and implementing new initiatives to strengthen pre-service and in-service training quality, conceptualizing and implementing PD initiatives to support centre leaders and educators, and reviewing and enhancing the effectiveness of existing PD initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new initiatives to strengthen pre-service and in-service training quality;
- Conceptualise and implement PD initiatives to support centre leaders and educators in deepening their competencies;
- Review and enhance the effectiveness of existing PD initiatives;
- Build on PD-related initiatives and curriculum-related frameworks to plan and implement related workstreams;
- Assist in programme management, finance processes and administrative work related to the programmes and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Possess Early Childhood qualifications and experience in working with children with special needs;
- Has held minimally Senior Preschool Educator or Deputy Centre Leader roles in an ECDA-licensed preschool;
- Has experience in planning and implementing training initiatives and developing, implementing and reviewing early childhood curriculum;
- Strong analytical thinking and project management skills;
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Self-motivated team player with strong leadership skills.
