Job Description

At Sea, we are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our recruitment efforts in [City]. As a Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and roles to be filled, reviewing job descriptions, and managing the recruiting pipeline. This includes determining resource status and needs, coordinating recruiting events and sourcing activities, assessing referral processes, building a talent pool to manage the hiring cycle, and developing new strategies and programs to attract candidates. Additionally, you will create, build, and maintain networks of potential passive candidates to fill future anticipated and planned roles. You will also define the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates, identify suitable candidates, and assess their qualifications through reviews of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communication. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in recruitment, with proven skills in tech recruitment being a significant advantage. They should also have hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases, as well as a thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, and applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. An empath with strong project management skills and communication skills is required to build relationships with various hiring managers. The ability to function well in a high-paced environment is also essential.
