The successful candidate will play a key role in managing various governance and member service activities, ensuring seamless execution of tasks such as the Investigation and Disciplinary Process (ICDC), Annual General Meeting (AGM), Nominations of Committee and Council elections, Members Recognition and Engagement events.

The Governance Manager will provide secretariat support for Council and other governance committees, overseeing finance/budget management, membership and CPE compliance monitoring. Key Responsibilities include:

Governance and Compliance
  1. Manage the Investigation and Disciplinary Process (ICDC), guaranteeing adherence to governance standards.
  2. Liaise with legal advisors, ICDC panel members, and other stakeholders to manage disciplinary cases.
  3. Assist with the review of policies and rules relating to governance and membership, including Constitution, Governance Manual, Council Proceedings Rules, General Meeting Rules and Membership Rules.
  4. Monitor compliance on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Ethics Pronouncement.
Council and Committee Support
  1. Provide secretariat support for Council and certain governance committees meetings, encompassing pre-meeting logistics and minute preparation.
  2. Oversee and manage the nomination process for ISCA Committees and Council election.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  1. Organize and coordinate all aspects of the AGM, including logistics, vendor management, and communication with Council members.
  2. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for the AGM, including minutes and post-AGM submissions.
Member Recognition and Engagement
  1. Plan and execute member engagement and recognition events, including award presentations, and member feedback management to ensure a positive experience.
  2. Manage communication and logistics for events.
  3. Assist to develop and implement strategies to encourage membership renewal and retention.
Financial Management
  1. Monitor and manage departmental budgets and ICDC related expenses.
  2. Liaise with Finance and auditors for financial reporting and compliance.
Reporting and Data Analytics
  1. Conduct reporting and data analytics on member data to provide insights and support decision-making.
  2. Liaise with relevant departments to gather and analyse data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Requirements
  1. A degree, preferably in Accountancy, Business or related fields.
  2. Qualified Chartered Accountants of Singapore will have an edge.
  3. At least 2 years of managerial experience.
  4. Experience in a professional or accounting firm will be an advantage.
