Sales Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Director to lead our retail team in Singapore, driving store profitability, staff productivity, and fostering a dynamic sales environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by managing resources effectively, enhancing the customer shopping experience, and implementing established policies and procedures.
  • Manage controllable operating expenses within agreed budgets, analyzing relevant data to drive improvements and optimize resource allocation.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and drive growth.
  • Liaise with the District Manager and Retail Back Office partners to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop and execute plans to improve sales, productivity, and profitability, ensuring the legal and financial integrity of the store.
  • Maintain a safe and productive shopping and working environment, adhering to company standards and best practices.

Accountabilities:

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, with expertise in driving commercial success, managing teams, and optimizing operations. The successful Retail Sales Director will be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of the store's commercial performance, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Managing the annual leave plan, scheduling staff effectively to meet business needs, and ensuring sufficient manpower during peak periods.
  • Directing daily shop operations to achieve commercial targets, ensuring effective execution of established policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a high level of visual merchandising and in-store communication standards, ensuring all merchandise deliveries are processed efficiently.
  • Leading loss prevention initiatives, ensuring cash register transactions are processed accurately, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Coordinating with Merchandising and Warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and timely delivery, supporting sales targets and inventory management.
  • Providing regular feedback to retail teams on consumer and retail trends, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Maintaining office and stockroom areas, ensuring a clean and organized working environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum 3 years of experience in store management, preferably in apparel/fashion/FW or FMCG industries.
  • Proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and operational optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to adapt to changing market trends.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.

Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per annum
