Air Freight Billing Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our air freight team as an Import Billing Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for accurate billing, invoicing, and customer support within our air freight operations.
This is a dynamic role that supports end-to-end import processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve rate/charge discrepancies and provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and post invoices using customer-specific tariffs for billing and invoicing purposes.
- Prepare monthly reporting for billing summaries for key accounts.
- Investigate and resolve rate/charge discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide timely processing of billing-related tasks and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse/office environment.
- Comfortable with MS Office and logistics systems.
- Willingness to handle occasional urgent matters outside office hours.
