UOB Kay Hian Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Settlement Associate to join our team. As a key member of our trade operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of trade validation, settlement, reconciliation, control checks, investigation, and exception handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process settlement for local and foreign equities and OTC products
  • Verify and reconcile dealing tickets and incoming trade confirmations
  • Resolution of unmatched trade positions and settlement failures
  • Liaise with institutional clients, banks, brokers, and liquidity providers on trade settlement issues
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of trade validation, settlement, reconciliation, control checks, investigation, and exception handling
  • Take ownership of the markets assigned and act with a sense of urgency
  • Proactively seek opportunities to identify gaps and enhance operational workflow
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma Holder
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience in trade operations either in stockbroking firms, custodians, or banks
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel
  • Able to work independently and extended hours
  • Open to working on holidays and occasional weekends
