
Human Resource Information Systems Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert to join our HR team as a Senior Systems Professional. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in human resource information systems to drive organizational success.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of our HRIS system. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring data accuracy, testing system updates, creating reports, and analyzing data to identify areas for process improvement.
You will serve as a technical liaison between functional and technical staff, providing expert advice on HRMS systems and collaborating with stakeholders to implement system changes. Key responsibilities include:
- System Maintenance : You will assist in reviewing and implementing HRMS upgrades or patches, collaborating with colleagues to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes, and maintaining HRMS tables.
- Production Support : This role provides support for HRMS, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Projects/Process Improvement : You will recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. The role also involves serving as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders, using project management skills in managing projects.
- Reports/Queries : You will write, maintain, and support various reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools, assisting in developing standard reports for ongoing customer needs, and helping maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Training : The role involves developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, training clients on new processes/functionality, and training new system users.
- Individual Development : You will maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS, with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies. The role also involves examining trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques, through classes, reading, CBTs, or other mechanisms, continuously increasing both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge, participating in user group meetings/conferences.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum degree in Human Resources.
- A minimum 4-5 years of experience would be advantageous.
- Office Hours/ 5 Days.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Good management skills of a team.
