Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts/countries, building relationships with key decision-makers to stay updated on pricing, product information, and general business matters.
- Sales Performance: Take ownership of booking numbers and revenue targets, driving overall sales performance and expanding our customer base across Asia for assigned countries.
- Strategic Planning: Implement a strategic sales plan aligned with the Managing Director's vision, with a focus on the industrial segment within targeted countries. Formulate and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and foster market expansion.
- Partnerships: Identify and appoint new partners (Distributors/Enterprise Account/Strategic Account), manage the evaluation, selection, onboarding, and negotiation of Distributors, ensuring a smooth and proactive partnership.
- Sales Optimization: Collaborate closely with Distributors to plan, implement, and optimize sales activities, aiming to exceed objectives in terms of profit, market share, and sales turnover.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to plan and execute activities aimed at boosting sales, maintain Salesforce data for reliable data retrieval, and conduct internal coordination with Customer Service and product teams to support Distributors/Enterprise/Strategic Accounts in the region.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Engineering or equivalent related course.
- Experience: 5+ years of sales/commercial experience in the regional distribution of industrial products through dealer/distributor networks.
- Skills: Strong hunting mentality, drive to proactively seek out and close new business opportunities, experience using CRM (e.g. Salesforce), planning and project management skills, business analytical skills, strategic agility, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, exceptional communication and presentation skills, creative and innovative mindset, and regional travel up to 20%.
