Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator

As a Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of mechanical projects from conception to completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Review project contracts to ensure compliance with design, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Assess mechanical design documents, commissioning plans, and method statements; provide comments within contractual turnaround times.
  • Liaise with Owner's Engineer and EPC consortium on contractual, technical, and quality matters.
  • Evaluate legal and regulatory requirements for applicability in mechanical design and execution.
  • Review and approve ITPs, FQPs, and MQPs for mechanical works, ensuring quality adherence during execution.
  • Ensure HSE compliance in alignment with local regulatory standards during all project phases.
  • Develop and implement improved methods and procedures to enhance contractor execution efficiency.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and coordinate with EPC for implementation and cost savings.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess feasibility and impact of project improvements.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to finalize designs and construction interfaces.
  • Prepare and submit periodic work plans and progress reports to management.
  • Measure mechanical work progress, verify, and certify monthly invoices from EPC consortium.
  • Monitor site performance and contractor activities; provide input on development of owner's project procedures.
  • Oversight safe and compliant execution of contractor field activities.
  • Manage interface coordination between mechanical, electrical, and civil works to ensure smooth project execution.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Power Plant.
  • Experience in Project Management.
