Job Opportunity

Senior/Executive Engineer, Signal, Communication & Control Engineering position is available to provide engineering solutions to reliability problems affecting SMRT Signalling, Communication & Control System and their associated equipment.

Key responsibilities include independently conducting defect troubleshooting, failure analysis, reliability trending, and developing engineering solutions to identified problems.

Responsibilities
  • Work effectively with Ops and Maintenance staff from the Lines as well as other engineering departments to investigate defects and develop methods for rectification.
  • Analyze and trend condition monitoring and defect data to identify reliability concerns and propose modifications for improvement.
  • Draft technical work instructions for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective technologies to enhance SMRT Signaling, Communication & Control System performance.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Previous Railway System experience would be advantageous.
