Senior Verification Expert Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Verification Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying digital and mixed-signal designs, including systems-on-chip with multiple CPUs, digital signal processors, security hardware, and other logic for IoT applications.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Develop test plans at block, sub-system, and chip level to ensure thorough verification of our designs.
  • Execute SoC-based verification at full-chip to identify and resolve any design or verification issues.
  • Write C-based lib packages and tests to streamline our verification process.
  • Architect and implement scalable and reusable test benches using SystemVerilog and UVM to improve our verification efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive test cases, stimulus generation, and checkers to achieve high coverage and reduce testing time.
  • Automate the test environment for randomized testing and scoreboarding to increase our testing capabilities.
  • Utilize advanced debugging techniques to identify and resolve complex design and verification issues.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and work with design teams to fix identified issues and prevent future problems.
  • Define and track functional and code coverage metrics to ensure thorough verification and optimize our designs.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) with 5-8 years of experience in block, sub-system, and full-chip verification.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple chips that function according to specification.
  • Ability to identify and manage verification deliverables, milestones, and schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of potential verification risks to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaboration with design, architecture, and software teams to understand and verify design intent.
  • Effective communication of verification progress, issues, and results to stakeholders and management.

Preferred technologies for this position include MIPI(CSI/DSI), Crypto, OTP, DSP, and Low-Power.
