Job Title

Lead Application Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the resolution of Level 3 support issues.
  • Manage and track support tickets, vendor communications, and offshore team coordination.
  • Ensure timely coverage during holidays, weekends, and critical business periods.
  • Collaborate with vendors for escalations, product defects, patches, and bug fixes.
  • Coordinate with onshore development teams for technical implementations and change requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in application support, with at least 2-5 years in a leadership or senior L3 role, preferably within a banking or financial institution.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing and/or coordinating with offshore teams is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
  • Hands-on experience in Java development, SQL, and cloud-native applications is required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with container platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Newgen BPM system is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic enterprise infrastructure concepts such as Load Balancer, Firewall, API Gateway, High Availability, Monitoring & Logging, etc.
