Role Overview
The Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition (CLIC) at NTU seeks a Research Assistant to support research activities on cognitive flexibility and learning. The ideal candidate will have a background in psychology with a focus on cognition, emotion, or related fields. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to innovative research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Conduct interviews
  • Liaise with school personnel
  • Construct, evaluate, and administer surveys
  • Assist in quantitative and qualitative processing and analysis
  • Collect primary data, code, and enter it into databases
  • Prepare reports
  • Assist in the analysis of findings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology with a background in cognition, emotion, or related field
  • Experience in conducting, collecting data for, and analysing surveys, psychological testing, behavioural testing, and cognitive experiments
  • Experience in conducting literature reviews and writing academic reports
  • Experience with statistical analysis using SPSS and/or R language
  • Good ICT skills
  • Good communication skills and other interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work effectively within deadlines
  • Interest in research at the intersection of neuroscience, social science, education, and cognition
