About the Role:
The Tech Support Specialist is responsible for designing and providing technical support for server, workstation, and storage equipment. This role involves working extensively in a fast-paced server environment, requiring self-initiative and technical expertise to drive IT solutions.
This position supports enterprise clients with servers, workstations, and storage systems. Our clients include research organizations, universities, data centers, government agencies, MNCs, and SMEs. We supply servers/workstations equipment for High Performance Computing, Storage, Compute, and Deep Learning/AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- To design and implement technical solutions for server, workstation, and storage equipment.
- Provide extensive technical support to clients in a fast-changing IT environment of servers and storage.
- To handle client queries and provide effective communication via email and phone.
- Able to adapt to a fast-changing IT environment of servers and storage.
- Fitness level as technicians may need to move heavy servers.
- Singaporean citizenship for client security clearance purposes.
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license (optional).
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in IT/Engineering or equivalent.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Effective communication via email and phone.
- Able to adapt to a fast-changing IT environment of servers and storage.
- Fitness level as technicians may need to move heavy servers.
- Singaporean citizenship for client security clearance purposes.
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license (optional).
Personal Attributes:
- Strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to handle multitasking.
Skill Set and Experience:
At least one-year experience in a similar position preferred.
Experience in Linux environment and CUDA programming advantageous.
Assembling Workstations and Servers experience beneficial.
