Job Summary

The Expeditor is a key member of the culinary team at Marina Bay Sands, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food orders quickly and efficiently, adhering to recipes and procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Read tickets and prepare food items according to specifications, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Stock and restock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring seamless service.
  • Assist fellow team members with preparation and setup, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Take ownership of the setup, maintenance, and closing of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their requests and needs in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a guest service or guest contact role, preferably in a hospitality organization.
  • Fluency in English and other languages is a plus.
  • Food hygiene and safety certification is required.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
