Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production team in the creation of innovative and delicious desserts, chocolates, and pastries
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure efficient production and minimize waste
  • Train and mentor junior chefs to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with AVA hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Monitor and maintain food cost margins within acceptable ranges
  • Develop and implement efficient manpower planning and rostering strategies
  • Support sales and operational activities, including in-store merchandising and display
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a sous chef and 5 years as a chef
  • Fluent in English or Mandarin, with basic computer skills and POS system knowledge
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Presentable appearance and excellent communication skills
