Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Youth Care Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and supervision to vulnerable young females.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical, emotional, and educational needs of our residents are met. This includes providing daily operational support, assisting with day-to-day challenges, and promoting a positive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily operational support and supervision to residents
  • Assist residents with day-to-day challenges and provide guidance on managing difficult situations
  • Promote a positive and respectful environment, acting as a role model and mentor to residents
  • Respond to crises and conflicts in a calm and professional manner
  • Conduct individual therapeutic interventions based on care plans developed by the treatment team

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with at-risk youth
  • Basic counseling and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of common issues and disorders associated with trauma and abuse
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
