Leadership in Therapy Services: A Key Role in Allied Professional Hub

The Allied Professional Hub's Therapy Services Leader plays a pivotal role, overseeing operations and strategic direction. This position leads a team of therapists and psychologists, collaborating with senior leaders to review strategic initiatives, ensure quality service delivery, monitor service administration, manage resources, and foster collaboration internally and externally for the betterment of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Efficiency and Service Quality: Develop work plans for departments, aligning with organisational goals; implement quality assurance measures to ensure adherence to service standards, performance indicators, and operating guidelines.
  • Uplift Professional Practice in Therapy Services: Lead the AP Team for a collaborative and person-centred approach to therapeutic planning, intervention, and evaluation, coordinating the work of therapists and planning case discussions with teaching teams.
  • Caseload Management: Manage therapist caseloads, endorse revisions as needed, and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Strategic Direction

  • Support Director in conceptualising and driving strategic initiatives that advance group outcomes, contributing to overall strategies for achieving mission and vision.
  • Regularly review and revise strategies and tactics in response to internal and external developments.

People Development

  • Support the cultivation of agency values, vision, and mission within the team.
  • Work with Clinical Leads to develop structures and processes for professional and personal development of team members.
  • Ensure high-quality monitoring and supervision of team members meet governing body and profession standards.

Requirements

  • Recognised degree or Master's in relevant discipline.
  • Registered with AHPC or Singapore Psychological Society.
  • Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience, preferably in AP roles with persons with disabilities, and at least 5 years in SPED settings.
  • Demonstrated ability in administering programs and managing teams.
  • Singaporean or PR status required.
