Job Title: Therapeutic Care Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Care Specialist to join our team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a positive impact on the lives of patients in a Senior Care Centre and Nursing Home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to patients with varying physical conditions, utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized equipment to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • They will educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall well-being, fostering a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Collaboration with healthcare professionals, including doctors, occupational therapists, and other specialists, is essential to ensure comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient assessments and treatment plans is crucial to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

To succeed in this role, the successful candidate must remain up-to-date with the latest physiotherapy techniques and best practices. They should be able to work independently while also being part of a dynamic team.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Physiotherapy is required. Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
