Job Title: Regional Finance Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to lead our financial operations across the APAC region.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, or related field, with minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, ideally within multinational corporations (MNCs).

About the Role:

The Regional Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all controllership functions within the APAC region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations.

  • The successful candidate will lead the preparation and review of financial statements, audits, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • They will provide financial insights and strategic decision-making support to senior stakeholders.
  • Strengthen internal controls and enhance risk management and operational efficiency.
  • Drive process and system improvements to optimize regional financial operations.
  • Act as the key contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage day-to-day finance operations with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA strongly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and regional accounting standards, regulations, and tax frameworks.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across functions.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive in taking ownership.
