Job Title: IT Technical Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technical Support Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about providing exceptional technical support and guidance to users.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

The IT Technical Support Manager will be responsible for providing daily end-user support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. They will also manage user accounts, email, file directories, file permissions, and assess and provide relevant software/hardware tools to staff for job efficiency.

Additionally, the IT Technical Support Manager will oversee and ensure timely technical support to all users, manage and monitor servers and network infrastructure, and monitor IT infrastructure such as firewalls, VPNs, servers, and data centers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

The IT Technical Support Manager will also identify potential security weaknesses and risks, conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and provide technical guidance and oversight of troubleshooting complex IT issues.

They will liaise with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement of IT equipment and services, and provide assistant and support to all IT administrative tasks and projects/duties assigned.

The IT Technical Support Manager will handle incident, problem, and change management processes efficiently, and conduct periodic review and assessment of IT competences of the company and recommend staff training and upgrading where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Working experience in the architectural or construction industry will be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
