You will form the core team of technical specialists working on waste management facilities, including Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) and Tuas South Incineration Plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the project team to supervise IWMF construction progress.
- Work with project consultants and key stakeholders to design various facilities in IWMF and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participate in testing, commissioning of mechanical, process, or electrical equipment/systems.
- Attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) at local and overseas factories to witness and verify quality and performance of major equipment/systems.
- Lead a unit of technical specialists to coordinate maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations of the waste-to-energy facility.
- Implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for electrical and control equipment.
- Administer contracts for the operation and maintenance of mechanical, EICA or building services equipment.
- Enforce permit-to-work system and safe work culture, supervising contractors' work for quality and safety.
- Assist in the formulation and preparation of standard operating and safety procedures, equipment testing/changeover programme.
- Drive initiatives on safety and continuous improvement to enhance the safety culture and standards within the plant.
- Diploma in any Engineering course.
- Bachelor Degree candidates could also be considered.
- Professional certification e.g. Licenced Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, Workplace Safety Health Officer would be given preference.
- Good technical background and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge in solid waste management would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and preferably in Navisworks and Primavera P6.
