Job Description
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support for business-critical systems, including hardware break-fix, software support, and desktop/end-user assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware break-fix support for servers, storage, server blades, POS, and other critical systems
  • Software support for end-user systems, Windows OS, applications, and more
  • Desktop/end-user support, including troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance
  • 24/7 rotational standby duties for after-hours cases
  • Testing and commissioning of replacement equipment to ensure system workability
  • Updating tracking systems for parts/service requests and task traceability
  • Inventory verification and preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Clone, reimage, or install Windows OS on various devices
  • Troubleshoot Windows-based OS issues, including device drivers, printers, Trojans, and viruses
  • End-user data migration and PC deployment during hardware refresh
  • Quality assurance testing for hardware equipment, including rack mount servers, blade servers, switches, and storages
  • Onsite staging/configuration for servers/blade systems from HP, IBM, or Dell
  • Coordinate installation and setup requests from customers
  • Attend project meetings for new installations and setups
  • Verify equipment delivery before projects commence to ensure accuracy
  • Test and commission newly installed equipment to meet system requirements
  • Perform UAT and document system installations for customer reference
  • Provide backup support for MOS/MNS contracts as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in desktop support with a focus on hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Relevant IT skills set in hardware and software troubleshooting, including installing software patches and updates on desktops and laptops
  • Experience supporting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and antivirus software
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of SGD 45,000 - SGD 60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
