About the Role
This full-time position requires an individual with a strong background in Windows desktop support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to resolve technical issues, provide timely communication on issue status, and maintain accurate ticket updates. Your expertise should include installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems (XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10), Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and authorized desktop applications. Additionally, basic knowledge of Mac operating systems is required to support Apple PC users. Installations, upgrades, support, and troubleshooting of printers, computer hardware, and other peripherals are also essential duties. Basic understanding of networks, servers, audio/video equipment, smart devices, and telecommunications infrastructure is necessary. This role demands flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide level one and two technical support for desktop-related issues. • Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex problems as needed. • Maintain accurate records and ticket updates. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools. • Participate in project-based initiatives requiring flexibility and collaboration. • Assist Band 0 technicians in their work and provide support to Band 2 technicians in resolving tickets. • Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers. • Remediate repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment. • Use analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues. • Broadly experienced in IT with basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices and Telecoms.

Qualifications and Skills
This role requires the following qualifications and skills: • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better. • 1-2 years' experience in Windows Desktop support. • Familiarity with Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, Helpdesk ticketing systems. • Knowledge of mobile device management including IOS and Android devices, Enterprise encryption solutions, Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory. • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work off-hours and weekends when required for projects or emergency support. • Proficiency in English language. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks effectively. • Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills. • A high school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience can be considered if you do not meet the education requirement. • Certification in ITIL Foundation is a plus.

Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary range of SGD $50,000 - SGD $65,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
