Financial Operations Director

The position of Financial Operations Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective utilization of financial resources to drive business objectives.
This leadership role demands a strong leader who can develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls that align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Financial Leadership: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure operational excellence.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to foster a culture of excellence and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including annual budgets and rolling forecasts to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Analyze financial data, trends, and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health to inform strategic decisions.
Accounting & Reporting: Oversee the accounting function to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records and reports.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Respond to financial inquiries from stakeholders and senior management.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including statutory requirements and industry best practices.
- Review and ensure adherence to governance policies and procedures.
- Sustain a culture of compliance and ethics within the finance team.
Process Improvement & Systems: Drive finance transformation projects to enhance financial processes, systems, and data integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to support financial operations.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification required. Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with supervisory responsibilities. Prior external audit experience and working in a multinational corporation preferred.
