Job Title: Senior Power Plant Engineering Manager

Description

This is a pivotal role that requires expertise in overseeing power plant engineering activities, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality deliverables. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to design and implement power plant projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of power plant systems and operations, as well as strong leadership skills to guide a small team. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and support site inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of plant engineering design activities for power plant projects, including cable sizing calculation, cable routing, connection drawing, loop drawings, and termination diagrams.
  • Collaboration with 3D design teams to produce 2D deliverables.
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a small team of engineers and technical staff.
  • Cross-functional collaboration for plant engineering coordination and support site inspection.
  • Providing technical support for project managers on project engineering milestone deliveries.
  • Supporting the purchasing team with technical evaluation and price optimization.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of onshore power plant design engineering, preferably with experience in Singapore.
  • Experience in coordinating, leading, and managing plant engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with complex cable tray routing, cable tray support engineering design, equipment layout, installation materials, cable glands selection, cable drum schedule, cable route schedule, cable termination material, and more.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools, such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in electrical composite plant projects.
