Job Title: Biotechnology Laboratory Specialist

Job Description:

This role is part of a global biotechnology group that encompasses four major categories based on its leading gene synthesis technology. As a laboratory specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to customers and executing production services of protein purification under the guidance of your supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacy, or chemistry, with good experimental habits and strong execution skills. They should also be able to process and analyze data, solve problems, and take responsibility for instrument management and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the production team with reagent preparation and routine testing
  • Operate lab instruments according to SOPs
  • Responsible for data analysis and processing of purification experiments, and complete the preparation of experimental records and reports
  • Responsible for tabulating consumable demand and stocktaking of raw materials within the group
  • Responsible for instruments management, and be able to carry out maintenance as required
Requirements:
  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Cell biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry major related and other related majors
  • Good experimental habits, ability to process and analyze data and solve problems, and strong execution skills
  • Responsible and conscientious attitude
